Stuff to Buy Channel / Bullz-Eye Home
Many say "it's the thought that counts," and that's particularly true when buying gifts for women. Putting some thought into your gift will go a long way toward bring a smile to her face when she unwraps your gift, so be mindful of the hints she gives you of what she likes or doesn't like.
Of course, in most relationships with women, your gift will be analyzed to death by her and her friends (unless of course it's been a long relationship or you've made it past the first couple years of marriage). There's a great Seinfeld episode about this subject where Jerry and George go shopping for Elaine's birthday back in the early episodes where there was still some sort of relationship between Jerry and Elaine. The episode leads to this hilarious scene that drives home the first point above about putting some thought into your gift. Jerry hilariously gives Elaine cash and a lame card, while Kramer ends up getting her the bench she really wanted. Watch and learn.
Of course, there are also times when you don't want to necessarily push a relationship along. In that case, find something cool that she'll love without getting too romantic and you can probably keep things casual.
So with all that in mind, here are some suggestions.
JEWELRY |
If you're going with jewelry, your choices will naturally be driven by the nature of your relationship. Don't go big here unless you're sure she sees the relationship in the same way. Also, this is where you can usually listen for hints, or at least observe the styles she likes. Take some mental notes and then let your friends or helpful salespeople to find something that fits what she likes.
We always go back to Tiffany & Co., as that blue box will give any woman with a sense of style a huge smile as she opens it. In some ways, this is the perfect option if you're not looking for something expensive. Of course, you can break the bank there, but you can also find a wide variety of bracelets and necklaces for under $300 and even some under $200.FASHION |
This is a tough one. You really need to know what she likes, or better yet have a hint of what she wants, before you try to get too creative here. She'll usually appreciate the effort but try to avoid picking something too far outside her comfort zone. That said, if you're feeling adventurous, make sure to hang on to the gift receipt!
We've featured ICON products in the past, and this leather jacket jumped out at us. Of course, it's a great option if she likes to ride motorcycles, but it's such a great looking jacket that we think many women will wear it. This jacket features a bold design and comes in black or white featuring top quality leather. If this fits her sense of style, she will love it!If you're looking for more classic or elegant products, check out premium brands like Chanel, Coach or Prada. And if you have some other cool gifts she can open, you can probably get away with a gift certificate to one of her favorite stores.

PERFUME |
You can buy her something she loves, a new fragrance, or something you like that you want her to try. Just make sure it isn't one worn by a past girlfriend!
This is one of the hot, new perfumes on the market, and anything from designer Stella McCartney should go over well. You can also browse her online site for other ideas, which includes everything from jackets, to handbags, to boots and more.DESTINATIONS |

SPIRITS |
Women love cocktails, and you can spice up a party or a night alone pretty easily with the right bottle. You can always go with a nice wine or champagne, but you can add some fun by mixing up cocktails she'll enjoy.
Most women loved flavored vodkas, and Smirnoff has capitalized on this trend with some great flavors. The new and hot flavors include Kissed Caramel and Iced Cake. Whether you're buying a personal gift or bringing something to a party, these two choices will be very popular. Both of these can be used for all sorts of cool cocktails, so bring some good mixers along as well. You usually can't go wrong with a tasty liqueur when shopping for women. The new, limited edition Kahlúa Gingerbread is a great option. Kahlúa is a very popular spirit, and Kahlúa Gingerbread "combines distinctive notes of gingerbread, nutmeg and subtle cinnamon and clove with the rich flavors of Kahlúa, which is made from 100% Arabica coffee beans and sugarcane spirit, grown side by side in the mountains of Veracruz." Sounds interesting – right? Well, we tried it, and it tastes great. You can serve it neat, on the rocks, or mixed into cocktails and coffee drinks.
