Yeah, yeah, we know: the All Star break technically isn't the midway point of the baseball season. Send a letter of complaint to MLB's front offices. For all intents and purposes, though, this is halftime of baseball's grueling 162-game schedule, which means it's time to take a three-day vacation from your fantasy teams, watch the Home Run Derby, and wonder how the hell Freddy Sanchez made the All Star team. Of course, it's also time to look at the standings and stats, and try to figure out how everything's going to play out in the next two and a half months. Too lazy to do that yourself? MIDSEASON POWER RANKINGS The four best teams in baseball reside in the American League. At least that's what Anthony Stalter says in our Midseason Power Rankings. The top 10 features surprise appearances from the Mariners and Diamondbacks, while the defending champs find themselves just a couple spots above the Orioles and Pirates. Ugh.	MIDSEASON PREDICTIONS One of those top four AL teams is the Tigers, and while he enjoyed a Pat Burrell- like success rate with his preseason predictions, Anthony's not changing his mind about the Tigers winning the World Series. He has, however, seen the light in the AL and NL East divisions.
