The UFC Middleweight Champion, Georges “Rush” St. Pierre, is regarded by many in the business as the best pound-for-pound fighter in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Standing 5-10 and weighing 170 pounds, the Montreal native is one of the most popular fighters in the world due to his fast-paced and entertaining fights.

Since debuting in the UFC in January of 2004, St. Pierre has bulldozed through many of the top fighters in his weight division, including top contenders, Karo Parisyan, Jason Miller, Frank Trigg, Sean Sherk, B.J. Penn, and most recently, a decisive knockout of former champion, Matt Hughes.

St. Pierre is known for his all-around abilities and styles ranging from an outstanding stand up, to a complete jiu-jitsu background, to solid Muay Thai. At the age of 25, St. Pierre has a very promising future in the UFC and hopes to improve on his 13-1 MMA record on April 7 when he faces Matt “The Terror” Serra at UFC 69: Shootout.
