Jessica Biel is one feisty customer. She is the latest in a series of bratty teenage actresses that began when the lovely Shannen Doherty started pulling hair over on the set of "Beverly Hills 90210." Jessica has been acting since age nine, appearing in productions of "The Beauty and the Beast," "Annie" and "The Sound of Music" where she then jumped to a career in modeling for Limited Too and featured on teenage girl magazines.

Jessica's break came in the role as Mary Camden on the critically acclaimed WB drama "7th Heaven." Jessica, who despised the image of the good girl that was causing her to lose film roles, rashly took her 17-year underage body to Gear magazine where she appeared nude in the hopes that producer Aaron Spelling would rip up her contract. Unfortunately, Jessica had to tolerate two more years of "7th Heaven" hell, despite being honored on People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful Women in 1999, before finally breaking into more mature roles with the adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' college satire, "Rules of Attraction," and the horror remake, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," not to mention critically respected turns in films such as "The Illusionist." In 2007, Jessica surfaced in a number of high-profile films, including "Next" and "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." Jessica has been deemed both surprisingly mature and a real bitch at times, but as long as she struts her fine body through showers of water while running from mass murderers, it will all be okay.

Jessica Biel on the Screen

No longer a puppet of Aaron Spelling's WB drama "7th Heaven," Jessica began her strike on Hollywood, appearing in the romantic comedy "Summer Catch" and the indie hit "Rules of Attraction" before getting her first big role in the 2003 remake of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Jessica followed that up with bombs like "Stealth," "Home of the Brave," "Elizabethtown" and "Next," and although her script choices haven't gotten much better in the years since, the movies have gotten bigger, with the roles in "The A-Team," the ensemble rom-coms "Valentine's Day" and "New Year's Eve," and "Total Recall."
